Why BestCo isn’t real
This page says plainly what the badge at the top of every page already hints at: BestCo Property Management does not exist. Here’s what that means, why it’s true on purpose, and what BestCo is actually for.
BestCo is invented
BestCo Property Management was created, in full, by Opsurant. Every property, every code, every person, every unit count on this site was made up for the purpose of demonstration. If any of it resembles a real property management company, that resemblance is coincidental—nobody on this site is modeled on a real person, and no property here is modeled on a real building.
Why a fictional company
Opsurant builds software that handles a property management company’s operational data—work orders, leases, compliance calendars, owner reports. Demonstrating that kind of software honestly means never running a demo on a real customer’s real data, even with the best intentions. So instead of borrowing a client’s numbers or dressing up a spreadsheet, Opsurant built a whole company from scratch: sixteen properties, a full staff, a working history, all of it fictional from the ground up.
What BestCo is used for
BestCo exists for product demonstrations, screenshots, sample documents, and worked examples—the kind of material that needs a realistic company behind it but can never be a real one. Nothing that happens on this site or in a BestCo demo involves a real transaction, a real resident, or a real employee.
The rules BestCo lives by

This domain can’t send email.
bestcopm.com is locked at the DNS level, on purpose, so it can never send a message that looks like it’s from a real company.

BestCo never lists apartments.
Nothing here advertises to renters, shows availability, or invites anyone to apply for anything, because there is nothing to rent.

Nobody is ever asked to believe BestCo is real.
